Mr. Elijah Owusu is a farmer and the Landscape Management Board Chairman, working with the Rainforest Alliance in the Juabeso-Bia Landscape project in the Western Region. As Chairman of the Landscape Board, Mr. Owusu has provided leadership for facilitating cocoa and forest preservation in the Juabeso-Bia landscape. Mr. Owusu has worked to foster discussions about sustainability among the members of neighboring communities. For this exemplary leadership, Mr. Owusu became one of the six finalists of the Rainforest Alliance 2015 Community Leadership Honoree. In 2017 his LMB won the Community Leadership Award at the Rainforest Alliance Gala event. Mr. Owusu has 50 acres of cocoa farm that is certified Rainforest Alliance.
