Madam Dorothy is a farmer who cultivates 14 acres of land in Wassa Amenfi with Cocoa as the main crop. She has about 124 timber trees intercropped with the cocoa. She was the Assembly Person for Amuni Electral Area from 2006 to 2009 and is currently a member of Amenfi West Sub-committee on Health and constituency women’s leader. Due to Madam Dorothy’s commitment and passion for women’s empowerment and sustainable natural resources management, she was called to serve on the National REDD+ Gender Sub-Working Group as the representative from the Wassa Amenfi Landscape.
