Dickson has over 20 years of experience working at local, national and international levels in linking tourism, conservation and community development through wildlife conservancies. He is reputed for facilitating the formation of 6 community conservancies securing 870km2 land for conservation in the Maasai Mara and is currently leading initiatives to grow community and private conservation investments and tourism efforts in Kenya. Dickson is passionate about working with communities and landowners to conserve and benefit from wildlife conservation. He was decorated as a Kenya Wildlife Service Honorary Warden and winner of the Sustainability Science Award from the Ecological Society of American. He holds a master of Philosophy degree in Wildlife Management, a BSc in Animal Production and is currently pursuing his PhD in Range Management.
