David is a practicing biodiversity conservation and landscape ecologist, who served the Ugandan government for eleven years, led the biodiversity inventory in 48 major forest reserves and five national parks, and was a lead author of the Uganda Biodiversity series reports and the Forest Nature Conservation Master Plan for Uganda. David is also a civil society activist, having worked for Care International and later opening the WWF Uganda office in 2001 and overseeing its growth since then. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry; Master of Science in Rural and Landscape Ecology and Masters in Business Administration.
