Daniel Farchy recently joined GCF’s Private Sector Facility, managing climate investment in sustainable ecosystem services and natural capital. Prior to this, Daniel was at the European Investment Bank, where he led development of new green capital markets products for the bank, as well as climate funds investment. Daniel also previously worked at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), leading work with financial institutions on green finance in Latin America, as well as in environmental asset management companies, and as an energy economist at the World Bank. He holds masters’ degrees in Natural Sciences from the University of Oxford, and in Economics from the Johns Hopkins University – SAIS.
