Award-winning dancer and filmmaker Corey Baker was born in New Zealand. He worked in Europe as a dancer before establishing a reputation as a popular and inventive choreographer. A feature of his work has been putting dance in unusual locations, including underneath the motorways at Spaghetti Junction, on the rooftops of Hong Kong’s skyscrapers, and in the first dance ever on the continent of Antarctica. His Swan Lake Bath Ballet, filmed during lockdown in the bathtubs of 27 international ballet stars, was a viral video hit and won the prestigious Prix Italia Award.
