Constantino Aucca

Constantino Aucca leads the growing Latin-American restoration initiative Andes Action. Under his leadership, Indigenous communities have successfully planted more than three million native trees and protected thousands of hectares of native Andean forests. For his work, Tino has received multiple prestigious conservation awards. Though, what he may be most proud is his continuous achievement of demonstrating that overcoming the rampant racism and discrimination against indigenous people like himself is possible and that with genuine leadership, ambitious, multicultural partnerships can be formed to tackle some of the biggest conservation challenges.
