Chief Technical Advisor (CTA) for FAO Projects funded by Central African Forest Initiative (CAFI): NFMS and the integrated programme of REDD+ in Equateur Province (PIREDD Equateur) in the Democratic Republic of Congo

Dr Cleto Ndikumageng is an expert in Environmental Sciences including biodiversity, forest management, Forest landscape restoration and climate change. He has a PhD in Environmental Science from the Multicultural University in La Dominique in 2014, a Master Degree (DESS) in Agropastoral Integration in Tropical areas from University of Paris East of Créteil (France), and a diploma of Engineer in Water and forest management from the Higher School of Agriculture in Burundi. From 1998 to 2019, he held several international positions on Central and West Africa as Director and Coordinator of Programs and Projects in international environmental organizations such as the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), FAO, IUCN, Canadian Cooperation (CIDA), and the Central African Moist Forest Ecosystems Conference (CEFDHAC).He is the author and co-author of over 45 scientific and technical publications.
