Clara is the Executive Director of Fundación Natura, a role she has held since 2019, following 13 years as the organization’s Deputy Director of Conservation and Research.
A biologist by profession, she brings 30 years of experience in management, planning, and sustainable development, dedicated to improving the quality of life of rural and urban communities while promoting biodiversity conservation. Throughout her career, she has led environmental organizations, programs, and projects as a means of addressing both Colombia’s and the global environmental crisis. Her work focuses on influencing decision-makers and scaling successful initiatives to achieve greater impact across landscapes and communities.
