Charles Menzies is a member of Gitxaała Nation. He is professor of anthropology. His research and teaching interests include the ethnography of Western Europe and Coastal British Columbia, natural resource dependent communities and resource management policies, the political economy of social struggle. Dr. Menzies is also the Director of the Ethnographic Film Unit at UBC.
