Brian Kithinji

Brian Kithinji works with the Association of Policy Practitioners, where he advocates for climate justice and mobility through policy research, analysis, and capacity-building. Before joining the policy field, Brian worked for CNBC Africa and AfriCatalyst, highlighting the inequalities and opportunities on climate financing for Africa. In 2019, he was the only African journalist at the Poynter-Koch Media Fellowship in Washington, D.C. Brian is also a fellow of the African Presidential Leadership Program-Egypt, the YALI RLC East Africa, and previously served as the Deputy EAC Youth Ambassador for Kenya. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
