Asger Strange Olesen is the Global Topic Lead on Land Use and the Bioeconomy for Scandinavian consultancy firm COWI A/S. He holds a Masters in Geography from the University of Copenhagen and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration. He has contributed to a long list of mainly EU-funded and IFI projects in the intersection between agriculture, governance and climate change, building on his experience as former LULUCF and Agricultural GHG mitigation expert at the European Commission, Directorate General for Climate Action and as Joint Implementation and CDM project developer for the Danish Government in Central and Southeast Asia. Olesen is a member of the UNFCCC Roster of Experts for NC and BR review.
