Anne Maina

Anne Maina is the National Coordinator of the Biodiversity and Biosafety Association of Kenya. www.bibakenya.org She has been actively working on challenging false solutions being pushed in Africa like Genetic Engineering, biofuels, the push for a green revolution in Africa and carbon markets as a strategy to cope with climate change in Africa. She has been very instrumental in the growth and development of networks such as the Eastern and Southern Africa Small Scale Farmers’ Forum (ESAFF), Participatory Ecological Land Use Management (PELUM) and the Alliance for Food Sovereignty in Africa (AFSA) and other networks in Africa.
