Anna Krotova works in the Standards Division at GRI, an independent international standard-setting organization that has pioneered sustainability reporting since 1997. She leads on the development of GRI Standards covering environmental issues, such as water, waste, and biodiversity, to ensure they help steer organizations towards addressing present-day environmental challenges through transparent non-financial reporting.
Ms. Krotova’s sustainability expertise builds on diverse roles in consulting, international development and NGOs. Prior to joining GRI, she worked at Metabolic, circular economy and systems thinking consultancy in Amsterdam, International Finance Corporation in Moscow, UNDP, and WWF. Ms. Krotova holds an MSc in Industrial Ecology from TU Delft and an MA in Environmental Policy from Moscow State University. She lives in Amsterdam with her family.
