Andrew currently works in the World Bank’ Africa East and South region on management of natural resources, sustainable forestry, and conservation of biodiversity. His recent focus has been on landscapes approaches to management of natural resources in Mozambique, Madagascar, South Africa, but also in Ukraine, Russia and other countries. He worked in protected area management, nature-based tourism, institutional set up of landscape approaches in countries like Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan. Building on previous experience of cross-sectoral and multi-country partnerships, Andrew also works on upstream management of environmental risks and maximizing climate resilience and socio-economic benefits of agriculture and transport investments.
