Alexandra Restrepo García is an economist from the University of Manizales and a finance specialist from the Autonomous University of Manizales. She has completed studies at the Business School of the University of Navarra in Madrid and holds a certification from the Colombian Securities Market Self-Regulator (AMV), which validates her qualifications to operate in the Colombian securities market.

Restrepo has more than 30 years of experience in the financial sector, both in the public and private spheres. Her career includes roles such as Territorial Manager for BBVA in the Coffee Region, Regional Manager at Findeter, Commercial and Marketing Director at the National Savings Fund (FNA), and Financial Services Manager at Indra Colombia. She also served as an advisor to the Financing Directorate of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, where she helped drive financing policies for several agricultural sectors, including panela, flowers, livestock, rice, and sugarcane.

In February 2024, she became the head of the Fund for the Financing of the Agricultural Sector (Finagro), Colombia’s agricultural development bank and a member of Grupo Bicentenario. In 2024 alone, Finagro mobilized 39.4 trillion Colombian pesos in credit to support the productive transformation of the agricultural sector.
