Alexander Horst

Seasoned international forestry expert with over 30 years of working experience gained on long- and short-term assignments for various multilateral and bilateral donors, international finance institutions and private sector in more than 35 countries worldwide. In his current role at EIB, Alexander contributes to the appraisal and monitoring of forest value chain and nature investment projects. Alexander is holding MSc degrees in Tropical Forestry and Forestry Science from the University of Göttingen, Germany.
