Alejandra holds a postgraduate degree in Environmental Assessment and Management for Development Plans, Programs and Projects from the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés in La Paz, Bolivia. She has served as an Environmental and Development Engineer at Escuela Agrícola Panamericana Zamorano in Honduras and as Assistant to the Head of the Environmental Unit, and Assistant to the Department of External Relations in Madrid, Spain. Currently with the position of Departmental Secretary of the Secretariat of Sustainable Development and Environment, of the Autonomous Government of Santa Cruz. The objective of the department is to promote actions, projects and programs on sustainable development and the environment, integrating environmental management, the conservation of natural resources and the territorial ordering and limits, for the benefit of the population.
