Patrick Mugenyi is a 43 year old Ugandan who has served in both private and public sector roles. A lawyer by training, he graduated with a Bachelor Degree from Makerere University in 1998. He holds a Post graduate diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre in Kampala. In addition to his academic foundation, he has professional training that includes the Marketing Curriculum and the Executive Development Program, both, of the Gordon Institute of Business Science, University of Pretoria. In April 2017, he took on the challenge of managing a turnaround of New Forests Company, the largest private sector Agroforestry player in Uganda with over 100 Sq. Km under management on three plantations. As Chief Executive Officer for Uganda he is accountable for the effective management of the asset base and commercial performance of the business.
