I was lucky enough to fly in a 6-seater Cessna airplane from Windhoek to Sossusvlei. Whilst my aunt was getting steadily greener (the thermals coming off the dunes made for just a little turbulence!), I was gasping in awe at the landscape beneath us, taking photos through the plane window.
