Marc-André Binette is a deputy head of investments at Fondaction, a Quebec based investment fund dedicated to sustainable development investing in companies and funds generating positive social, territorial, environmental and economical impacts. In this role, he manages real estate investments, broad sector Fund of Funds and fund creation investment strategies. Before joining Fondaction, he was, from 2006 to 2012, Senior Director Investments for an important institutional Canadian fund where he oversaw investments, asset management and strategic partnerships. Before 2006, he worked in development and acquisition for private companies in real estate and infrastructures. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B) and a masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Sherbrooke University.
