Elmer Francisco Méndez Hernández, Public Accountant and Auditor from the Mariano Gálvez University of Guatemala, has a career in both the public and private areas. In the past he worked as an administrator and accountant in small enterprises and has served as an internal auditor in the National Council of Protected Areas of Guatemala (CONAP). He has also worked as administrative-financial advisor to organizations partners of ACOFOP, was also a financial manager and General Manager of the Carmelita Integral Marketing Cooperative. He currently serves as CEO of the Forest Services Community Company Corporation (FORESCOM).
