Pedro Magalhães – commonly known as Pê – is a Brazilian social scientist and environmentalist from the Cerrado region, with over five years of experience working with international organizations and NGOs on socio-environmental issues. For more than a decade, he has been actively engaged in social movements, youth organizations, and political advocacy in Brazil. Holding an MA in Development Management from Ruhr University Bochum, Pê specializes in project management, community building, grassroots mobilization, and knowledge sharing. Having worked at the Global Landscapes Forum since 2022, Pê is currently acting as the GLFx Latin America & the Caribbean Hub Officer, where he strengthens the Global Landscapes Forum’s regional presence, amplifies the impact of GLFx chapters, and collaborates on solutions to counter the destructive consequences of extractive developmental models in LAC landscapes.
