Élodie Toto is an investigative journalist specializing in environmental and climate reporting across West and Central Africa. Former fellow of the Pulitzer Center’s Rainforest Investigative Network, she works for Mongabay and has led cross-border investigations on issues such as carbon markets, deforestation, and critical minerals. She mentors local journalists through storytelling that bridges science, Indigenous knowledge, and accountability reporting.
