Theresa Klara Loch is the President of the International Forestry Students’ Association (IFSA) and a PhD student at the Chair of Forest and Environmental Policy at the University of Freiburg, Germany. Her research focuses on social networks and forest biodiversity conservation. She has been actively involved in initiatives addressing gender inequalities and climate justice since the beginning of her studies. In 2021, she joined IFSA’s Gender Sub-Commission, advocating for inclusive forest education and a more gender-aware forestry sector. She is also the co-author of the IFSA Open Letter on Gender and Forest Education, published in 2021.
