Naiara G. Sales is a lecturer at the University of Salford, United Kingdom. She has a PhD in Molecular Ecology and Conservation from the same university, and worked as a researcher at the University of Lisbon (Portugal) and the University of Chester (UK). Her research focuses on the application of molecular tools to address a wide variety of ecological and evolutionary questions. She mainly uses novel genetic and genomics techniques for biodiversity and health assessments, ecosystem monitoring and species conservation.
