Christine Zambrano Vale, is the Watershed Development Officer of the Carood Watershed Model Forest Management Council in Bohol, Philippines. She has been serving the organization for 11 years, playing a key role in advancing sustainable watershed management and restoration initiatives.The Carood Watershed Model Forest is a non-government organization composed of a coalition of local government units, government agencies, people’s organizations, indigenous peoples, youth organizations, and the academy. Together, they work towards a shared vision of sustainably managing the entire watershed—restoring ecosystems while balancing the livelihood needs of the communities. With over a decade of hands-on experience, Christine continues to champion inclusive and collaborative approaches to environmental governance and ecosystem restoration.
