
Alice de Moraes Amorim Vogas is Head of the Extraordinary Advisory Unit for COP30 at the Brazilian Ministry of Environment and Climate Change. Alice holds a degree in Law from UERJ – the State University of Rio de Janeiro and an MSc in the Political Economy of Late Development from LSE – the London School of Economics. Alice worked for years in the finance sector as a lawyer at Icatu Holding S/A and has more than a decade of experience in the field of international and sustainable development, working with civil society, academia and philanthropy. Alice coordinatedthe Politics and Engagement Program of iCS – the Institute for Climate and Society, a Humboldt Chancellor Fellow, working with Deputy Lisa Badum (Green Party) in the German Parliament, Senior Climate Lead at WINGS, where she coordinated the global movement #PhilanthropyForClimate. Alice was the Director of Partnerships and Communications of iCS and Chairwoman of the Foundations 20 Platform.
