Cherryl joined the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in 2013. She serves as an advisor on international climate finance (ICF) and is in charge of the follow-up and monitoring of Luxembourg’s ICF project and programme portfolio. Luxembourg’s ICF targets adaptation and mitigation activities in developing countries. Natural capital, forestry and biodiversity, clean air and water, sustainable finance and community based adaptation and resilience are some of the priority themes for Luxembourg’s ICF allocation. Throughout ICF activities, particular attention is paid to SDG co-benefits, gender equality and human rights.
