Muhammad is the Spatial Platforms technical lead for CIFOR-ICRAF’s Geo Science Lab where most of his work spans around Spatial Data Infrastructure, especially data management and dissemination. He provides technical support for various online resources such as the Landscape Portal and geospatial data portals that support GIS work in The Gambia and Chad, as well as the apps that support agroforestry and tree planting research such the Africa Tree Finder, Regreening Africa android app, Indian Agroforestry Assistant android app.

He has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Master’s degree in Geoinformatics from Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) Stockholm, Sweden.

He joined ICRAF in September 2013 as a Geoportal Developer.
