Blaise Bodin`s work focuses on the economics of ecosystem restoration and mainstreaming biodiversity in restoration interventions. He shares his time between the Forest Landscape Restoration Mechanism team at FAO and the Forest Ecosystem Restoration Initiative implemented by the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity, working on a range of capacity-building activities, development of decisions-support tools and support to restoration planning. Prior to this, he worked for several years at UNEP-WCMC on multiple benefits, spatial planning and safeguards for REDD+ in Central Africa and other regions. He graduated with Masters degrees in Public International Law and Environmental Management.
