Nathália is a geographer with a PhD in Earth System Science and develops research focused on integrating spatial models of environmental systems and socioeconomic and political contexts. She has worked on topics involving geotechnologies, spatial modeling, analysis and design of environmental policies and economic instruments to support the conservation and restoration of ecosystems. She is currently a researcher at the Institute for Advanced Studies at the University of São Paulo (Brazil), where she develops research on political, economic, and ecological aspects of forest restoration.
