Elivis Omoit is a Conservation Forester from Uganda working as the Youth in Landscapes Intern for Africa at the Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) where he leads GLF youth programs in the Africa region. He also volunteers as the Head of Sub-Commission Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and Youth in Landscapes Initiative (YIL) at the International Forestry Students Association (IFSA) and represents IFSA on the YIL steering committee. Previously Elivis has served as Entrepreneurship minister at the Mastercard Foundation Alumni at Brac Uganda (MFABU) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Conservation Forestry from Makerere University Kampala. Elivis has experience working with youth in business and climate change and he is passionate about sustainable finance and community development. He loves working with diversified teams to hone and develop leadership skills while contributing to work that transforms communities.
