Terry Sunderland is a Professor of Tropical Forestry at the University of British Columbia, Canada and a Senior Research Associate at the Centre for International Forestry Research, Indonesia. Dr. Sunderland is gathering evidence for the importance of forests and trees in the attainment of food security and biodiversity conservation, and suggests a more integrated approach to land management.
