Sanjaya Raj Tamang is a forester from Nepal. He has an undergraduate degree in Forestry from Tribhuvan University, Nepal with ongoing graduate studies in Natural Resources Management and Rural Development at the same institution. He has been working as a field officer at ForestAction, Nepal for two years. He has been intensively examining socio-economic and ecological dynamics of rural communities in one of Eastern Nepal’s lowland remnant forested island. He has working experiences in natural resource management with his particular interest in biodiversity conservation. He envisions on becoming a passionate natural resource steward in the future.
