Niki has been with Global Canopy since 2007, becoming Executive Director in 2016. He has focused on the growing environmental crisis for almost two decades, collaborating with leaders in government, business and finance to create positive change. In 2005, he was joint coordinator of an international symposium that took over 200 politicians, scientists and faith leaders into the heart of the Amazon. Before that, he worked in technology and co-founded Upstream, one of Europe’s largest mobile solutions and marketing companies. Niki holds a degree from Cambridge University, and an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics, the United Kingdom.
