Lawrence Damnyag holds a Ph.D. in Forest Science-Forest Economics from the University of Eastern Finland, and MPhil in Economics with Statistics from the University of Ghana. He is a Principal Scientist at the CSIR-Forestry Research Institute of Ghana and a Senior Lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. His research focused on i) farm, forest and environmental resources valuation, ii) development of decision support tools for forest resources management, iii) work with agricultural communities to foster low carbon, forest restoration and livelihood improvement, iv) Economic modelling of agro-forestry and forestry systems, and v) Agricultural/forest investment appraisals; International Forest Policy; Carbon Finance and Marketing
