Lauren Cooper is Director of the Forest Carbon and Climate Program at Michigan State University, where she works to increase understanding and implementation of climate-smart forest management in the context of climate change mitigation and adaptation. Her research focuses on conservation incentives, forest use values, and engagement of rural actors in achieving climate targets.
