Akinyi is an Environmentalist focused on restoration, circular economy, climate change, renewable energy and ESG (Environment, Social and Governance). She is the Co-Coordinator of GLFx Nairobi chapter that focuses on landscape restoration and advocates for the urgency for sustainable landscapes through youth and women leadership. She believes in sustainability that combines conservation, development, knowledge and community. As an Environmental Consultant, she is on a mission to demystify sustainability and climate change mitigation. She has focused on bringing clarity, impact-based solutions and practical roadmaps to companies and organizations with a mission to further their positive impact on the planet and society.
