Maximilian Meyer is a researcher who works with the Center for Development Research (ZEF) and Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR). In academia and as a freelance writer, he helps to form and develop sound analyses of complex, environmental issues and believes that the power of numbers is as important as the story behind it. Maximilian supports research within a variety of fields such as bioeconomy and landscape management in Germany and Indonesia. As a trained agricultural scientist, his emphasis is on environmental economics and sustainable land use. Maximilian holds a BSc in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Bonn, specializing in environmental and resource economics, where his knowledge includes life-cycle assessment, economic estimations and statistical data analysis.”
