Matthew started working aged 18 as a rainforest guide in the Amazon. Since then he has worked with environment and development in Western Africa, Southeast Asia and South America. He recently returned to Stockholm after 2.5yrs working for the Stockholm Environment Institute, SEI in Bangkok, Thailand.

Matthew is the Deputy Director & Communications Manager of SIANI, the Swedish International Agriculture Network Initiative as well as a Research Fellow at SEI working with water governance, bio-economy and wider agriculture related issues.
