The water policy dictated by agricultural interests: given the small number of seats granted to NGOs, the debates of regional and local bodies supposed to define the water policy in the regions (Water Agencies, Water Committees). Basin and Local Water Commissions) are too often conducted according to agricultural interests. This explains why in 60% to 80% of the cases the actions decided within these structures favor palliative measures such as the depollution of the contaminated waters, without daring to attack at the origin of these pollutions.
