Jitsai (Tata) Santaputra is an award-winning youth climate and energy transition advocate. She served as the lead youth delegate for Thailand to global climate conference COP28 in Dubai and COP29 in Baku, having worked closely with the Department of Climate Change and Environment at Thailand’s Ministery of Natural Resources and Environment to prepare the youth delegates to represent Thailand’s interests and national plans. She co-founded Thailand Youth Climate Council (TYCC) in 2024, as part of the preparations to COP29 and to raise funds to support the youth’s activities during COP. At the regional level, she co-founded a youth-led non-profit organization in 2023 called Youth for Energy Southeast Asia (Y4E-SEA) to support and connect youths working on the just energy transition in the region. In November 2024, she received the prestigious REvolutionaries Steve Sawyer Memorial Award from Global Wind Energy Council, Greenpeace, and REN21 in recognition of her role in driving the clean energy revolution. Professionally, Jitsai is a Consultant at The Lantau Group based in Bangkok.
