youth-focused organisation on a mission to activate 30 million jobs in Africa’s green
economy by 2033. JLA addresses the twin challenges of youth unemployment and climate
change by advocating for and creating green jobs through four key pillars: Communications

Development, and Skilling for Job Creation Pathways. These initiatives encompass research, a climate-tech incubator, and large-scale programmes in collaboration with local governments. JLA also runs the Africa Climate Ambassadors Programme (ACAP), which amplifies voices advocating for Africa’s climate opportunity
narrative. Sellah is also the founder of Zinduka, an apolitical, youth-focused platform that empowers
young Kenyans to actively engage in democracy and nation-building. Sellah is a tri-sector leader, with experience across the private, public, and non-governmental sectors. She holds a BA in Business, and an MSc in Public Leadership, and is currently pursuing an MSc in Sustainable Development at the University of Sussex.
