Hiwot Tafere has got her bachelor’s degree in forestry and specialized in Tropical Forestry management. She started her career in university as an academician and worked for 8 years. Taking a turn to development work, Hiwot has worked on natural resource management, landscape restoration and forest management in NGO and private sector. Currently Hiwot is managing a Forest landscape restoration project in Ethiopia implemented by German development cooperation.
