Dr. Joséphine Thérèse Makueti is Senior Expert for Landscape Restoration working for the Forest and Environment Programme for the German Cooperation (GiZ) since 2017. Her specialization is the field of soil fertility improvement through agroforestry pathways. Since 2016 Joséphine Makueti is associated Researcher for CIRAD on the topic “Intensification of Cacao-based agroforestry systems pathways in Central and West Africa”. During her career Dr. Makueti mentored and supervised several undergraduate and postgraduate students ; Published over 13 papers in plant genetic resources sustainable management and biodiversity conservation and produced at least 14 proceedings and book chapters.
