At GLF, it’s our goal to provide you with ways to connect, learn, share and act, not just with us, but with your local community, the online community, or the growing global movement of 1 billion people dedicated to sustainable landscapes.

Develop yourself both personally and professionally: volunteer! In a world full of ego, values such as compassion, empathy, and the simple desire to dedicate hours for a common good are often left aside. When you volunteer with GLF, you’ll work with fellow leaders to promote a message that’s essential for our time – and for the next generation. We’ll be counting on you and your skills to make sure it all shakes out in the best way possible.
Influence
Be an influencer for GLF Accra 2019. Help us build awareness around sustainable landscapes by inviting your social media audience to engage with you at GLF Accra 2019 or during the Digital Edition. Share your personal story of sustainability, life in your landscape, research or knowledge and use the links and tags provided in our social media kit. Participate in the social media contest to win free tickets.
Create
Use your creative talent to help shape the narrative at GLF Accra. Create something that aligns with your personal goals and also helps raise awareness about landscape restoration and sustainable landscapes. Landscape Talks
Welcome to the Big Stage. Share a cool idea, innovation, an amazing research breakthrough or critical issue that 1 billion people need to hear. Your talk will be professionally filmed, moderated, produced and broadcast online to a global audience of tens of thousands. We’ll share with you your recorded talk, while featuring it on the GLF communications channels.
Digital Edition
Join us online and be part of the grassroots movement making progress on sustainability pledges around the world. Engage with leading development and finance organizations and get inspired by global influencers. Participate in polls and surveys, tune into 7 minutes Landscape Talks from youth, policy makers and entrepreneurs, join workshops and shape the conversation.
Youth in Landscapes
The GLF and the Youth in Landscapes Initiative (YIL) are creating a powerful landscape experience to inform the hearts and minds of future leaders. Held in the lead-up to the GLF Accra 2019 conference from 29-30 October, this program is bringing together young change-makers from around the world to take a deep, analytical look at a local community or project that has successfully achieved its goals for a more sustainable landscape. Participants will meet in Accra, and not only learn, but also contribute to and leave an impact on the hosting community.
