Sara Orozco is an economist and political scientist, and currently serves as Regional Coordinator for Latin America and the Caribbean at Microinsurance Network. In her role, she leads the regional strategy to foster the development of inclusive insurance, coordinating the Landscape Study and contributing to the analysis of the environment. Sara is committed to promoting peer learning and knowledge generation in the field of inclusive insurance.
In addition, she works to establish strategic collaborations with key international organizations, such as the International Labor Organization, Access to Insurance Initiative, the Inter-American Federation of Insurance Companies and the United Nations Development Program, in order to maximize the impact of initiatives in the region. Her experience in the insurance sector, combined with her strong academic background, positions her as a key resource to drive effective policies and promote financial inclusion in Latin America and the Caribbean.
