Mxolisi Sibanda is Adviser, Climate Change with the Commonwealth Secretariat where he leads the work on implementing the Living Lands Charter. He also supports the management of the Commonwealth Climate Finance Access Hub, key for small island states and other vulnerable nations in the Commonwealth. He brings over two decades of experience working on natural resource management, conservation and Climate Change. This has covered local to international level work on biodiversity, climate change and human development, building capacity including mainstreaming Climate Change, policy analysis and advocacy, and strategic planning. He has authored articles and speaks widely on these important issues of nature conservation, climate change, financing and development.
