Dr Cargele Masso works for CGIAR as the Director of the Impact Area Platform on Environmental Health and Biodiversity. Before joining One CGIAR, he was working for the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) in the natural resource management program. He also worked for the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada in agricultural input quality control and sustainable soil management, respectively. He has been contributing to global professional networks like the International Nitrogen Management Systems (INMS) and the International Nitrogen Initiative. He is currently acting as the Secretary General of the African Soil Science Society.
